Christening of „BBC Pluto“ 15 month after delivery

Due to the first German port call of MV “BBC Pluto”, a bulk carrier built in China which has been delivered in October 2010, was christened. After discharging in Rotterdam “BBC Pluto” called Nordenham. The 37.700 tons deadweight  vessel discharged a rest of copper concentrate supported by agency PWL Port Services (Bremen), which was loaded in South Africa. The vessel was christened by Silvia Gustavi-Eilers, the wife of Holger Eilers who works since years as an assistant in the inspection department of Briese Schiffahrt.

“BBC Pluto” and her two months older sister “BBC Neptune” have been built at Xingang Shipyard in Tianjin for the holding companies "Halte" and  "Westbense".
