Briese Chartering - Team

Introduction

Our office is located in the same building of the headcompany Briese Schiffahrts GmbH & Co. KG. This enables us to have a close contact to other departments like inspection and crewing to ensure short but effective communication ways. We are balanced with young and dynamic as well as experienced colleagues closely working together in chartering, operation and stowing matters.

Chartering

The Chartering team presently consists of 8 colleagues. The main task is to coordinate cargoes and voyage routes for our vessels in order to achieve the best solution for charterers` requirements.

Careful and safety handling of customers cargo is our basic principle. Therefore our objective is the professional cooperation with our clients to offer them the most efficient solution.

Operating

Our operating team ensures in close contact with charterers, brokers and local agencies a professional and effective schedule.

The high accessibility of our team and good alliances in the European ports guarantees the fast handling of charterers’ cargo.

Port Captains

Two port captains as experts in nautical matters support the chartering and operating team in every matter. Both have been on board for a long time and are experienced in cargo operations and the vessels specifications. 

They are always working for the fastest but safest stowage proposal to fulfil the charterers’ requirements.
